If your pet has the misfortune of getting up close and personal with a skunk, try this make at home recipe:
SKUNK NEUTRALIZER SOLUTION
1 quart of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1 - 2 teaspoons liquid dish soap
Allow solution to remain on fur for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water. Mix in an open container and USE IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT mix in advance. Can be used on people or pets. Avoid eyes and mouth.
